Temp to Hire Candidates will be on the production floor Candidates will be pulling samples from production and inspecting them Candidate will ensure right materials are at each station for that the production line does not stop Candidates must Pass the GMP Quiz after interview Responsible for the quality of processes and product outputs. Activities include:
- Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a service or manufactured material, component, or product
- Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of processes or outputs, either against defined internal and/or regulatory standards
- Product integrity testing, coloring, fitting and pattern and wet processing to ensure orders are in compliance with corporate/customers' quality requirements
- Reporting on process deviations and defects
JOB SUMMARY Conducts a physical evaluation of the final product, intermediate products, raw materials (incoming and existing inventory). Duties include performing GMP inspections, assisting in validation studies, and instrumentation and chemical solutions for use in the Quality department.
RESPONSIBILITIES Performs physical evaluations of incoming raw materials, manufacturing components, batch formulations, and finished products against QC specifications and GMP requirements. Inspects the products being produced and assembled in each area of operations, and the Manufacturing area itself for GMP compliance. Analyzes test results against established specifications. Completes all paperwork and records necessary for all aspects of the job. Assists in the creation and development of product standards, testing methods, and standard operating procedures.
Keeps a clean and safe environment. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Education High school graduate or equivalent Experience Previous quality control experience preferred. Certified Quality Technician preferred. Skills Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Ability to work alone and with other people. Ability to operate computerized equipment and maintain accurate records. Good oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Good PC computer skills (Word, Excel).
Good math skills. Ability to work under pressure. Self-directed requiring limited supervision.
