Overview
The Senior Account Representative is a seasoned professional individual contributor responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, driving revenue growth, and creating strategic account plans to expand reseller go‑to‑market initiatives.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Acquire new growth opportunities.
- Manage assigned existing accounts to develop strategic plans that enhance reseller go‑to‑market growth, initiatives, and strategies.
- Generate revenue, drive profit, and increase market share by positioning and selling Ingram's products, programs, and services.
- Coach and review the work of less experienced team members, providing constructive guidance.
- Mentor and motivate team members to meet and exceed personal and team targets.
- Execute moderate to complex projects and exercise sound judgement to deliver superior results.
- Handle large volumes of information with high accuracy.
- Adapt to rapid changes and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Travel up to 10%, including potential international travel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong selling skills to identify opportunities, position solutions, and close deals.
- Strong organizational skills and problem‑solving agility.
- Proficient with Excel and Word.
- Ability to work collaboratively, prioritize work, and respond quickly to change.
- Experience designing and executing strategic business plans with detailed action items.
- Understanding of pipeline management and metrics tracking.
- Business acumen and ability to achieve metrics and objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum six years of sales/customer‑service experience, or four years of technology or distribution sales/customer‑service experience.
- Ability to handle large amounts of information while maintaining accuracy.
- Experience with moderate‑to‑complex projects and sound judgement.
- Available to travel up to 10%, may include international travel.
- Must pass a drug test and a pre‑employment background check.
Base pay range: USD $64,600–$109,900 per year, depending on location, pay grade, and variable compensation. Additional rewards may include merit increases, annual bonus, sales incentives, and long‑term incentives.
