Responsibilities
- Generate revenue from the acquisition of new accounts within the Independent Channel.
- Develop an overall territory plan and strategy to achieve sales targets.
- Build strong relationships across various customer levels at target properties.
- Prepare presentations and negotiate pricing and terms.
- Manage complex selling situations and develop product solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-4 years of successful sales experience
- 1-2 years of experience in New Business Development/New Account Acquisition
- Hospitality Industry and/or Textile Experience a plus
- Professional, polished telephone presence and face-to-face demeanor.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation and active listening skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong proficiency with basic computer hardware and software (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM).
