1st & 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician II. Carol Stream Move Collective

Summary of Position

The Maintenance Technician II independently performs complex electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of plant equipment, systems, and machinery panels. This role completes assignments across multiple production lines with minimal supervision.

• Troubleshooting & Repairs:
  Independently troubleshoots, repairs, and performs advanced electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant equipment, systems, and machinery panels.
• Preventive Maintenance:
  Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment, using appropriate hand and power tools to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Fabrication:
  Fabricates necessary parts as needed to support equipment functionality and minimize downtime.
• General Maintenance Support:
  Assists with additional building maintenance or repair activities as required.

• Education, Experience, and Knowledge:
  High school diploma or equivalent required; five or more years of experience in equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting; advanced knowledge of electrical components and wiring; ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480 volts.

  None required.
