Position Overview

Senior Water Damage Restoration Specialist

Responsibilities
  • Working supervisory position responsible for full charge execution of drying strategies for buildings damaged by water from various sources.
  • Lead a team to carefully remove damaged building materials and install advanced drying equipment.
  • Follow IICRC guidelines in addition to company processes to help homes and businesses recover from water damage events.
  • Use advanced technology to document conditions on job sites to verify the completeness of the project.
  • Make independent decisions regarding adjustments to drying plans, selective demolition activities, and team member assignments.
  • Communicate and coordinate with all stakeholders on the project including property owners, insurance representatives, and company file managers.
  • Manage the customer experience throughout the duration of the project with the goal of generating positive reviews.
  • Be capable of working on residential and commercial water projects as leader or part of a team or independently as needed.
  • Participate in a 24‑hour on‑call program for one week out of four along with other team members.
  • Be available to mobilize and travel out of state to service properties damaged by storms and fire.
  • Continuously learn using company learning and career development programs to enhance performance and skill set.
Qualifications
  • 3 or more years of experience in property damage restoration services.
  • Complete understanding of advanced structure drying and restoration processes.
  • Possesses two or more industry certifications such as WRT, ASD, AMRT.
  • Ability and willingness to take full charge for the success of restoration projects.
  • Experience leading a team to deliver outstanding service.
  • Desire to learn new processes and lead a high‑performing team.
  • Career growth ambition.
  • Current IICRC WRT and ASD certifications.
  • Insurable Pennsylvania driver’s license.
  • Pre‑employment criminal background and drug screening required.
  • 3–5 years of related work experience.
  • Understanding of building and construction assemblies.
  • Willingness to lead and be accountable for project results.
  • Proficiency with smartphones, digital cameras, email, text messaging, and industry job‑management software.
  • Experience with Mitigate software.
  • Residential and commercial restoration experience.
  • Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Experience with Mitigate and Dash.
  • AMRT and Mold Remediation certifications.
  • Customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience leading teams on large projects.
  • Willingness to travel for regional and national work.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75–100 lbs.
  • Ability to stoop, crawl, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a variety of climate and environmental conditions.

  • Willingness to work extended shifts and on‑call after‑hours as part of the 24‑hour program.
  • Ability to climb a step ladder to 10 ft or an extension ladder to 24 ft.
