Trailer Mechanic

This position required a high level of technical skill and the ability to work independently. • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems
• Repair or replace damaged components, such as bearing, brakes, lights, and suspension systems
• Install standard and custom hitches, brake controllers and wiring
• Install new snowplows, salt spreaders and wiring along with repairing old snow equipment

• Minimum 3 years of Mechanical experience required
• Current and valid Driver’s License
• Experience fixing bearings, brakes, axles, brake controllers, and wiring is required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of trailer systems and components
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
• Proficiency in welding and torching techniques
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Skilled in effective written communication
• Some tools required

• 8-hour shift
• Monday-Friday
• Every other Saturday (8am-2pm)
