CDL Class A Driver — Regional Routes & Growth

Wismettac is looking for a professional, safety‑minded CDL Driver to be the face of our company. You aren’t just moving freight; you’re building relationships and ensuring our high‑quality products reach our customers safely and on time.

Starting at $31.00 per hour. Eligible for Quarterly Driver incentive and $50 per day per diem on nights out (staying in hotel).

Full‑time Monday–Friday (Standard 40 hours), with common overtime and early starts.

Territories covering Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and local Chicago area.

  Occasional interstate and out‑of‑state deliveries for those who love the variety of the open road (trips usually 2–4 days).

You will operate heavy‑duty delivery trucks (avg 26,000 lbs), managing established routes and providing top‑tier service to our clients.

• Efficient Delivery:
  Navigate routes safely in various weather and traffic conditions.

  Deliver products and maintain positive client relationships.
• Precision & Safety:
  Conduct thorough pre/post‑trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (E‑logs).
• Hands‑on Logistics:
  Load and unload merchandise (up to 50 lbs) and assist in warehouse operation when needed.

• The License:
  Valid CDL with a solid driving record.
• The Physical:
  Ability to handle strenuous physical work, including lifting, pulling, pushing 50+ lbs and maneuvering in/out of the cab.
• The Mindset:
  Knowledge of DOT regulations and a "safety‑first" attitude.
• The Flexibility:
  Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends to beat the traffic and meet customer needs.
