Lead Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics

Immediate Opportunities:
Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers

Earn $33.41 per hour overtime after 40 hours
Shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift
Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral

• Assist leadership with day‑to‑day operations, mentor new hires, train, inspect and cover routes as needed
• Support reporting and fleet manager needs
• Perform deliveries of medical supplies to local hospitals
• Unload the trailer using electric pallet jacks

• Sunday through Thursday
• PM start time

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Hold, or be able to obtain, a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• English language proficiency required to comply with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Work the required schedule and specific location, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening
• Position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; must work in a constant state of alertness and maintain safety

• Must be able to see and hear; specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; must use hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach; must regularly lift or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally up to 100lbs/45kg
• Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
