Class B CDL - Truck Driver

Job Overview

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL B Driver for our Carol Stream, IL location.

• Safely deliver products to job sites.
• Physically unload material as requested by customers.
• Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory.
• Unloading shingles on one‑ and two‑story homes with a boom truck.
• Load trucks with material scheduled for deliveries while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at the warehouse.
• Move materials from receiving to designated areas.

• 2 years CDL Class A driving experience required or 1 year CDL B driving experience.
• Moffett and/or knuckle boom operating experience desired (training will be provided).
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Heavy lifting experience and the ability to lift 50‑100 lbs. continuously throughout the day.
• Must pass background check and pre‑employment DOT drug screen.
