Wismettac is looking for a professional, safety-minded CDL Driver to be the face of our company. You aren’t just moving freight; you’re building relationships and ensuring our high-quality products reach our customers safely and on time.

Location:Carol Stream, IL

Pay:Starting at $27.00 per hour. Eligible for Quarterly Driver incentive.

Over-the Road Driving:Territories covering Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and local Chicago area.

The Role:You will operate heavy-duty delivery trucks (avg 26,000 lbs), managing established routes and providing top-tier service to our clients.

• Efficient Delivery:Navigate routes safely in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Customer Connection:Deliver products, and maintain positive client relationships.
• Precision & Safety:Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (E-logs).
• Hands-on Logistics:Load and unload merchandise (up to 50 lbs) and assist in warehouse operation when needed.

What you need:

• The License:Valid CDL with a solid driving record.
• The Physical:Ability to handle strenuous physical work, including lifting, pulling, pushing 50+ lbs and maneuvering in/out of the cab.
• The Mindset:Knowledge of DOT regulations and a "safety-first" attitude.
• The Flexibility:Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends to beat the traffic and meet customer needs.
• The Tech:Comfortable using tablets for E-logs and reporting.
