We Are Inspired to Serve. Join us! This position is responsible for transporting residents to and from medical appointments and to the community for admission from local hospitals, as well as activity outings in a safe and courteous manner and other requests as deemed necessary.
Essential Responsibilities- Drive the van on scheduled appointments and activities.
- Assist the residents onto and off the vehicle and to point of destination if required.
- Notify their supervisor of any required repairs to the vehicle.
- Complete the checklist on the van at the beginning of each day and check the gas on the van before each trip.
- Monitor and comply with vehicle inspection schedule.
- Keep facility environment safe by removing unsafe items from driveways and walkways. Report broken or hazardous objects to your supervisor.
- Clean interior and exterior of van weekly.
- Required Degree:
High School Diploma or Equivalent - Certificate(s):
Valid Driver's License and CDL License, if applicable - Experience:
2+ Years
- Sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office/community setting.
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate various equipment base on department and weather conditions
- Engaging in repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers – typing and/or writing.
- Clarity of Vision
- For near visual acuity Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers.
- For Far visual acuity, Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. This is not just the ability to see a person or object, but the ability to recognize features as well.
- For peripheral vision, observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.

Compensation Pay Range$16.06 - $20.88 per hour
Reasonable Pay EstimateA reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $16.06 - $20.88 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
