Electric Pallet Jack Operator

Our client, a leading logistics and distribution company, is seeking an Equipment Operator I to join their team. As an Equipment Operator I, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting order fulfillment and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Equipment Operator I

Location: Carol Stream, IL

Pay Rate: $19.50

Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM

• Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to select and transport products within the warehouse
• Label products using Sysco Order Selection (SOS) technology to ensure accurate order processing
• Stack and palletize products following safety and efficiency standards
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards, including equipment inspections and safe operation

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Experience operating ride‑on electric pallet jacks or forklifts preferred
• Minimum 12 months of warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, including coolers and freezers
• Strong attention to safety procedures and equipment maintenance
