Order Picker/ Cherry Picker Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Cherry Picker Operator to join our warehouse team in the Carol Stream, IL area. This role works seamlessly with warehouse personnel and cross-functional departments to ensure customer orders are picked accurately, meet quality standards, and ship on time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, productive, and committed to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a Man-Up Cherry Picker to pick customer orders from inventory while meeting productivity and accuracy standards
• Verify inventory quantities using stock status reports or electronic inventory systems and edit orders for final completion
• Count cartons and containers to validate order accuracy prior to shipment
• Label shipments with proper identification, including correct delivery destination information
• Prepare Bills of Lading as needed, including unit counts, weights, and required notations
• Perform daily equipment checks, including battery levels and electrical hookups, to ensure safe operation
• Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory processes; cross-check inventory for accuracy
• Maintain high standards of product quality, service, and order integrity
• Communicate improvement ideas to supervisors to enhance efficiency and workflow
• Perform other duties as assigned

Desired Background/

Skills:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience operating a Man-Up Cherry Picker or similar material-handling equipment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret inventory documents and electronic inventory systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work at heights throughout the shift
• Dependable and flexible with scheduling requirements, including mandatory overtime
• Steel-toed shoes required
