Job Description:The HR Coordinator provides day-to-day support to the Human Resources department with a focus on recruiting and payroll administration. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth onboarding, accurate payroll processing, and a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Support full-cycle recruiting for hourly production and assembler roles
- Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications, and job offers
- Manage pre-employment steps including background checks and drug screenings
- Conduct onboarding and new hire orientation sessions
- Maintain accurate candidate and employee records within the ATS system
- Track and update candidate statuses and documentation
- Review timesheets, audit payroll data, and support payroll processing
- Serve as backup support for payroll administration
- Coordinate with IT on new hire setup and access requests
- Prepare new hire folders and onboarding materials
- Order business cards and assist with workstation setup
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide HR support
- Assist with company events and employee engagement activities
- Perform additional HR administrative duties as needed
- 1–3 years of experience in recruiting and payroll administration
- Associate’s degree required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow structured processes and work from detailed checklists
- Comfortable multitasking and pivoting between priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with UKG, ADP, or Breezy
HR is a plus - Must be able to pass a math assessment during onsite interview
