Looking for an electrician with some mechanical experience to work in the Maintenance Department. Perform complex technical work in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures, and related systems. Install, repair, and maintain machinery and facility systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects
- General upkeep of a building’s electrical system
- Routinely inspect electrical systems such as wiring on facility and machines
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and maintenance problems and implement quality solutions
- Repair, install, adjust, or maintain machines and equipment
- Fix faulty wiring
- Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance
- Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Help maintain spare parts inventory
- Adhere to safety standards
- Electrical systems
- Manufacturing machines and equipment
- Facility wiring systems
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience
- Mechanical experience a plus
- Proven work experience as a Maintenance Electrician
- Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code
- Skills must include problem solving, teamwork, and good communication
- Must be able to lead a team
- Ability to act competently in emergencies
- Work effectively with other team members
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and routinely lift items up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand/sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
