Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily documentation, data entry, and recordkeeping functions in a laboratory environment in Carpinteria, CA. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone with strong administrative support skills who enjoys accurate data management, organized processes, and a structured office-based setting. As a Laboratory Administrative Assistant, you will help maintain critical records, update information in Microsoft Office and SAP, and support laboratory documentation workflows.

This role offers a professional team environment, hands‑on training, and the opportunity to build valuable experience in laboratory administrative operations without direct chemical handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized laboratory and administrative records.
  • Update and manage information using Microsoft Office, Microsoft databases, and SAP.
  • Support laboratory documentation, filing, and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Follow established procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal processes.
  • Assist with inventory‑related documentation and product testing records as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to support daily administrative workflow.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay: $24 to $25 per hour.
  • Schedule:

    2nd shift, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. After training, the start time may change to 1:00 PM.
  • Duration: 6‑month contract with possible extension.
  • Location:

    Carpinteria, CA.
  • Hiring process includes an in‑person interview, background check, and drug screen.
