Business Analyst II

Job Description

This role supports Operations desks based on volume and needs and may train on additional desks. It involves all tasks of a Business Analyst Level 1 and may assist with those responsibilities. The Business Analyst Level 2 focuses on Level 2 projects and processes, including but not limited to quarterly QCs, liaison work between Operations stakeholders and IT on system specifications, project plan coordination, and testing.

• Provide additional projects and processes at the manager’s discretion.
• Process department SRRRs and Service/Research Requests.
• Deliver support and processing to listed desks based on volume and needs, review SOPs, and recommend improvements.
• Lead Level 2 Projects and Processes such as ad‑hoc projects, quarterly QCs fees, statements, net‑change reports.
• Conduct yearly Operations audits and coordinate on behalf of Operations stakeholders.
• Document specifications, coordinate new systems work plans, track issues on existing systems, and test.
• Analyze and evaluate problematic operational and system trends, recommend solutions to management.
• Work with department managers to evaluate processes, identify breakdowns, and recommend modifications and enhancements.
• Report trends and recommend training needs and enhancements.

• HS Diploma or GED.
• PMP Certification or 1 year of Project Management experience.
• 2+ years of industry experience with a broker‑dealer or financial institution.

• BA Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar.
• FINRA License – SIE within 6 months of hire.
