Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Reporting

The Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting functions for Pro Health. This executive will ensure the integrity of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the development of financial strategies to support the company’s growth and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience as a cost accountant in our industry, preferably in a senior role. As a strong communicator and skilled financial analyst, this person will streamline our budgeting, forecasting, internal controls and financial reporting processes.

• Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and long-term planning.
• Oversee financial reporting and analysis.
• Partner with Executive Team on budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure.
• Lead the accounting team in maintaining accurate general ledger records and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee tax planning, compliance, and filings.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Oversee insurance, treasury, and investment activities.

• 10+years of professional accounting experience
• Cost accounting - experience preferred in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working for a company selling through multiple channels (DTC, retail, Amazon)
• Experience in consumer brands
• Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis
• Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting
• Experience in managing payroll, with focus on streamlining accounting processes
• Advanced Excel skills

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, or related field
• Five or more years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager
• Professional certification, such as CPA (certified public accountant) or CA (chartered accountant)
