IT Business Analyst, Business Systems & Technology Analysis
Location: Fully Remote (U.S.) or Hybrid in Carpinteria, CA or Broomfield, CO
Join a growing global manufacturer known for innovation, craftsmanship, and premium-quality products. We are seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst to partner with IT and business leaders in optimizing enterprise processes, improving ERP functionality, and driving operational excellence across the organization.
This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the VP of IT and offers the opportunity to influence company-wide initiatives during a significant ERP optimization and business transformation.
What You'll Do- Analyze, document, and improve end-to-end business processes across multiple functional areas.
- Develop process maps, workflows, SOPs, and business requirements using Visio or similar tools.
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Manufacturing, and IT to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions and system enhancements.
- Support ERP optimization, process standardization, testing, implementation, and user adoption.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with software vendors and internal stakeholders on system enhancements and integrations.
- Recommend best practices that improve efficiency, accuracy, and business performance.

- Cross-functional ERP workflows and business process integration
- 5+ years of Business Process Analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience documenting business processes, workflow diagrams, SOPs, and process maps.
- Strong ERP process ownership and system optimization experience.
- Experience supporting high-mix, low-volume (HMLV), engineer-to-order, configurable product, or custom manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Ability to gather ambiguous business requirements and convert them into actionable solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with ERP implementations, stabilization, or optimization projects.
- Knowledge of manufacturing best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with Visio, Salesforce, ERP systems, and IT service management tools.
