Please note this is a 1 year contract position. This position is onsite in Carpinteria, CA.
Qualifications1-3 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance, repair, and support of semi automated and robotic manufacturing equipment (bottling and labelling lines)
- Troubleshooting vision and labelling (printers) systems, machinery, and production systems
- Performing preventive maintenance activities on automated systems
Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas, which may involve working with and assisting engineers.
Duties may be related to the selection, installation, maintenance, repair and support of manufacturing equipment; technical support of one or more production/fabrication processes, product testing and troubleshooting; and/or technical analyses and problem-solving.
Carries out and/or assists in the development, improvement and optimization of standards, processes and procedures in the manufacturing environment, which may include cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance.
May assist in qualifying sources of raw materials, chemicals and other ingredients used in the manufacturing process.
May use layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals and rough sketches or drawings to set up, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and perform maintenance and repairs.
Works with engineers to develop, execute and track the testing and problem resolution of new and existing components, parts, products or processes/systems.
Compiles and maintains applicable documentation.
May design and/or build tools.
