Starting Rate $16.90 per hour.

• Maintain a store section, order, receive and stock merchandise with proper equipment, assure proper pricing and check product date codes; stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, and refrigerated/frozen cases; prepare perishable products for sale if required.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot as directed by store management.
• Operate a cash register, receive payment, make change or process check/charge/debit transactions; process cash or credit refunds when approved by management; verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous assistance to customers by providing current store and product information; load customer purchases into their vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties; record lost or damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common‑sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (desired).
• Retail Management Certificate (desired).
