Project Manager Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA)
OWASA isseekingateam member to join ourcapital improvements teamas aProject Manager.
This position is responsible for managing all aspects of assigned capital improvement projects.
Developing requests for proposalsandqualifications,contract documents, cost estimates, bid/proposals, contract awards,and other related contracting documents.
Executing assigned capital improvement projects and studies byprocuringand directing the work of consultants and contractors.
Overseeing construction of assigned capital improvement projects in conjunction with resident project representatives.
Maintaining project schedules and budgets, ensuring conformance with internal policies, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
Obtain easements and encroachmentsrequiredfor projects through OWASA standard operating procedures
Responding to customer concerns and inquiries.
Interacting with consultants, contractors, regulators, operations and professional staff, members of the public, and other stakeholders.
Develop and execute projectcommunication plansin conjunction with other OWASA staff.
QualificationsRequiresa high school diploma or GED,plus specializedtechnicaltraining equal to twoyearsofcollege.
Minimum one year experiencewithproject management principles and practices used in the planning and construction of public water and wastewater projects, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidates should be self-motivated and have excellent written,verbal,and interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to effectively manage projects.
Pay and Benefits- Salary Range is $80,682 - $120,918
