Overview
Experienced Palliative Care NP/PA - 100% Outpatient needed in Pinehurst, NC
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to carry out our mission, “To care for people.” Located in the beautiful Village of Pinehurst, our organization is a private, not-for-profit, community‑based health care network serving the mid‑Carolinas. ResponsibilitiesAbout the Opportunity:
- The Outpatient Palliative Care APP will treat patients in their homes or facilities within the Moore County area.
- The care team includes seven Palliative Care APPs and two dedicated social workers.
- Weekday position with protected administrative time.
- Call
Schedule:
1:4 weeks with Hospice:
Monday–Friday 5:00 pm–8:30 am, 24‑hour coverage Saturday and Sunday. - Attractive compensation and benefits package:

- NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification.
- PA must be a graduate of an AMA‑approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
- 2 years of advanced practice experience required. NPs function autonomously across all units.
- Must be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision‑making.
- Exceptional communication skills; must be able to effectively navigate sensitive patient/family discussions.
- Clean background, NC license, and NC DEA required.
- AHA ACLS certification required.
