Overview

As a member of the Retail Experience Team, this position will assist with leading retail education and training strategies, focusing on store-level retail trainers and the overall development of our future brand leaders.

Responsibilities
  • Drive brand-wide sales metrics by focusing on education for store-level retail trainers/managers
  • Maintain and grow a network of Retail Experience Managers across the brand
  • Create newsletters highlighting new resources and training focuses monthly
  • Facilitate calls that enable Retail Experience Managers to collaborate monthly
  • Plan and execute the annual Retail Experience Summit
  • Monitor performance of Retail Experience Managers to identify opportunities
  • Provide support to individual Retail Experience Managers as needed
  • Present training classes at regional trainings and annual conference as needed
  • Support the training of individuals in our Operating Partner Development Program as needed
  • Lead training sessions for new Franchisees as needed
  • Create and maintain written guides through our company’s intranet
  • Create and maintain video training content through our Learning Management System, Fleet Feet University
  • Partner with other departments to support all aspects of sales and service training

Additional retail experience initiatives may be assigned as business needs evolve.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a retail trainer or similar role
  • Ability to travel periodically, at times up to 25%
  • Retail store management experience preferred
  • Run specialty industry experience preferred
  • Strong presentation skills and comfortable speaking in front of large audiences
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and retail POS systems
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written), collaboration, and facilitation skills
  • Passionate, positive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Collaborative and customer-centric
