Adjunct Instructor, Nursing

Position for Fall Semester 2026 at Carroll Campus, IA.

Salary: $1,123 per Equivalent Credit Hour (ECH).

Teach assigned nursing courses during the Fall Semester 2026. Schedule includes daytime and evening hours as determined.

• Develop and deliver instruction in accordance with course competencies and syllabi.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning styles.
• Maintain a safe, civil learning environment.
• Communicate course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document student attendance, progress, and competency attainment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Three (3) years of clinical work experience related to the teaching assignment.
• BCLS certification.
• Iowa Registered Nurse license or ability to obtain before employment start.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with a diverse student body.
• Compliance with clinical partner requirements including vaccinations, safety protocols, and health screenings.

• Master’s degree in Nursing or current enrollment in a graduate Nursing program.
• Prior teaching experience.
