This is a full-time on-site role for a Psychotherapist at our Spirit Lake, IA location. The Psychotherapist will provide individual, group, and relationship counseling, conduct assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans for clients. Responsibilities also include assisting clients in navigating mental health challenges, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining thorough and accurate documentation. The role requires a commitment to providing confidential, high-quality care in alignment with the organization’s mission to enhance community mental health.
Qualifications- Expertise in Psychology and Mental Health, including the ability to evaluate and support clients with diverse emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Proficiency in Counseling and Relationship Counseling, with experience in delivering compassionate and effective therapy sessions.
- Familiarity with Medicine practices related to mental health and the ability to incorporate medical knowledge into therapeutic approaches.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
- A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, with appropriate licensure or eligibility for licensure in Iowa.
- Prior experience in a clinical setting or mental health practice is highly preferred.
- Commitment to ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in client relationships.
