Graduate Degree Internship/Practicum (Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy)(Carroll)
PAMHC is seeking Master’s Level Practicum students for Fall 2024 – Spring 2025 in the Carroll office. Interns should have primary professional goals related to mental health psychotherapy or master’s level social work. Candidates planning to work for the agency post‑graduation are given preference. This is a paid position with opportunities for full‑time employment.
Practicum students/interns will fill out a full application online, provide a resume and participate in a full interview process.
Pay Range: Funds provided by the Carroll County Grant
$5,000 End of Fall Semester
$5,000 End of Spring Semester
Position Summary: Practicum students/interns will shadow or function as a secondary clinician performing duties of biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, support groups, participate in clinical staffing and community outreach.
Requirements:
- Strong decision‑making skills as well as problem‑solving skills are required.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance.
