Core-Mark, a leading wholesale distributor serving over 45,000 convenience retail locations, is seeking a Buyer to support our fast-paced wholesale trade operations. The Buyer will manage purchase orders, analyze inventory and demand, and source products across fresh food, beverages, and tobacco. You'll collaborate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure the right products are available on time and at the best cost.

Responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders for convenience retail products, ensuring accurate quantities, pricing, and delivery dates
- Analyze inventory levels, sales trends, and forecasts to maintain optimal stock and minimize shortages or overages
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery to support profitability and service goals
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to align purchasing with customer demand and promotional plans
- Monitor vendor performance, resolve order issues, and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Use ERP and procurement systems to track orders, maintain item data, and generate purchasing reports
- Support cost-saving initiatives and margin improvement through strategic buying and vendor programs
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, contracts, and industry regulations
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and support new product introductions
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing metrics and recommend adjustments to buying strategies
