Family First Homecare, formerly Universal Pediatrics, is hiring compassionate RNs and LPNs to provide 1:1 pediatric private duty care for young client in Carroll, Iowa. This is a rewarding role for nurses who value connection, continuity of care, and making a real difference in a child’s life—plus a few extra smiles and hugs along the way.
Location:
Carroll, Iowa Schedule available:
Full-time or PRNEvenings, 4 or 8 hour shifts
Weekdays and Weekends available
Start of Care:
Within 30 days Compensation:
Hourly wage
Paid weekly $2 shift differential hours between 7pm and 7amBenefits with full-time hours
Client Needs May Include, but not limited to:
Medication management
Lifting with family assistance
Behavior management

Family First Homecare (FFHC), formerly Universal Pediatrics, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver high-quality, in-home nursing care to pediatric patients. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing services, adhering strictly to Family First Homecare policies, state Nurse Practice Acts, and all applicable State and Federal regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accountable for providing care that is based on licensure/certification within the scope of practice
Maintains an updated clinical record on each patient at all times, meeting required deadlines for documentation
Evaluates the effectiveness of nursing service to the patient and family on an ongoing basis
Consults with physicians concerning alterations of patient care plans, documentation of changes in patient care and reports all changes in care to the nurse supervisor
Supports FFHC’s mission by mentoring and/or coaching new employees during patient specific orientations
