Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation of journal entries, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.

Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) across all financial operations.

Perform account reconciliations and assist with balance sheet account analysis.

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Collaborate with the finance team to streamline and improve financial processes.

Assist with internal and external audit processes, providing necessary information and answering queries.

Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful financial data to support decision‑making.

Identify and implement strategies to optimize financial performance and efficiency.

Stay updated with industry trends, changes in business practices, regulatory requirements, and tax laws in the assigned financial area.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of five years of experience in a corporate accounting or similar role, preferably within the Engineering industry.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles, regulations, and practices.

Proficiency in creating and maintaining journal entries and performing account reconciliations.

Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide financial forecasts.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.

Experience with financial reporting and accounting software.
