Job

Job Summary
  • Oversee the Stone Center’s social media pages and coordinate with the Dean’s office to ensure the center’s webpage is current and reflective of ongoing initiatives. (15%)
  • Manage and distribute the Stone Center’s monthly newsletter, ensuring it reaches key stakeholders and highlights impactful activities and outcomes. (10%)
  • Provide administrative support and assist with graphic design for key programs, including Start‑Up Boot Camp, Family Business Retreat and Round tables, and Design Thinking workshops for faculty and staff. (30%)
  • Collaborate with campus partners to elevate awareness of the Stone Center's programs and initiatives within the university and the broader community. (5%)
  • Serve as a liaison between the Stone Center and UWG student organizations to foster collaboration and engagement. (5%)
  • Ensure adherence to university guidelines for communications and marketing efforts related to the Stone Center. (5%)
  • Attend and support all Stone Center meetings and events, assisting with logistics and execution. (10%)
  • Represent the Director of the Stone Center by delivering classroom presentations and engaging with students as needed. (5%)
  • Perform other assigned duties that contribute to the overall success of the Stone Center. (15%)
Required Qualifications
  • Be enrolled full‑time in a UWG graduate program.
  • Hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Meet the requirements to be eligible for employment in the United States.
  • Possess strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Display strong writing and grammar skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
  • Work is predominantly performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.
  • Must be able to walk short distances and/or drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a Richards College graduate program.
  • Earned a bachelor’s degree.
  • Be enrolled full‑time in a UWG graduate program during the assistantship period.
  • Possess strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Display strong writing and grammar skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
