Job SummaryThe Graduate Assistant will actively contribute to the work of the College of Education and GA's BEST Programs by fulfilling the following responsibilities:
¿ s BEST programs and activities. (10%)
¿ s BEST and the College of Education. (5%)
- Be fully admitted to a graduate degree program ase note:
Students admitted provisionally are not eligible for assistantship positions. - Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Be enrolled full-time in a UWG graduate program during the assistantship period.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all previous and current graduate coursework and remain in good academic standing.
- Meet eligibility requirements for employment in the United States.
- Candidates preferred in the following programs:
Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or any education major
- A monthly stipend of $1,200.00 per month
- A tuition waiver, reducing your semester rate to $25 plus mandatory fees as long as you are employed in your assistantship.

- This position requires occasional lifting, moving, and transporting of event supplies, promotional materials, tables, displays, and other equipment for College of Education and Georgia
¿ s BEST events. - The role also involves periods of standing, walking, bending, and carrying materials during event setup and breakdown.
- Additionally, the position includes extended periods of sitting while staffing the front desk, providing office support, and completing administrative tasks.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support special events and programs.
