Job Summary
This position supports Auxiliary Services—including Housing, Dining Services, Parking and Transportation, Print and Mail Services, the UWG Outfitters bookstore, the Wolves Card Office, and Health Services. Duties include student hiring and processing, administrative support, purchasing, customer support, and coordination with internal and external partners. A credit check is required due to P‑Card responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Screen applicants and schedule all interviews for student assistant postings. Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions based on manager needs. Coordinate with new employee, manager, HR, and payroll to ensure all hiring processes are completed in a timely manner.
- Serve as backup to the Wolves Card Office for , meal‑plan sign‑ups, reservation questions, and general campus inquiries.
- Create and maintain Smart Sheets and forms for tracking dining operations, cooler temperatures, employee absences, etc. Update the Dining POS system with pricing changes and menu items. Update the MOP for all dining locations annually and as needed.
- Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and reserve rooms for Auxiliary Services.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 4–6 years of administrative experience and advanced knowledge of software programs such as word processing, spreadsheets, MIS, POS, or other job‑specific programs.
- Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Business Administration or related field).
- Two years of directly related experience in administrative support activities.
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
- Direct customer service experience.
- Microsoft Suite experience.
$19.61 – $25.00 per hour, paid bi‑weekly.
Physical RequirementsLifting up to 15 lbs in an office environment.
