Job SummaryWe are looking for someone who wants to be a member of our team while being able to work independently. Someone who wants to grow with us! You must be willing to sign a Confidentiality Agreement due to the private nature of information in our department. Responsibilities will include:
Providing a warm and welcoming client experience by assisting students and parents via email, phone, and/or in person in a business office environment. Answer inquiries and provide information in regard to payments, payment plans, bills, and student account charges. Contacting current and past due balance clients. Assisting office staff with clerical duties including, data entry, filing, scanning, stocking supplies and running an occasional errand on campus, etc.
Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours and maintaining at least a 2.0 cumulative grade-point average.
Preferred QualificationsBusiness majors with interests in Accounting/Finance are encouraged to apply. Communication majors with interests in Client Services are also encouraged to apply. Prior office/customer service/clerical/higher education experience. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Withstand mostly sedentary working hours using a desktop computer and soft phone. Lift up to 40 lbs (in order to store and organize office materials.)
