Job Summary

The Senior Specialist, Training-Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership and executing training programs at the operational level. This role focuses on the delivery and support of training initiatives, mentoring others, and contributing to change management and compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning:
Provides strategic leadership and executes training programs at the operational level, focusing on delivery and support.

Content Development:
Drives execution of training documentation, processes, and plans; provides feedback for improvement.

Training Delivery:
Customizes and localizes training materials for specific roles or departments; facilitates in‑person & virtual training.

Team Leadership:
Delivers onboarding, safety, and job‑specific training to hourly and salaried team members; mentors others and may lead projects.

Change Management:
Drives change communication and training rollout during change initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Works closely with supervisors and frontline team members to identify training gaps.

Compliance & Documentation:
Ensures communication and training rollout during change initiatives at the local level.

Evaluation & Metrics:
Maintains training records and ensures documentation is up to date locally.

Technology & Tools:
Collects and analyzes feedback and reports on training participation and comprehension.

Professional Development:
Demonstrates a learning commitment; encouraged to develop skills in facilitation, LMS use, and instructional design.

Required Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree:
Education, or business‑related field.

Years of

Experience:

5-7.

Training or operations in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Education & Experience

Master’s Degree:
Education, HR, Organizational Development or related field.

Years of

Experience:

8-11.

Knowledge of adult learning principles, Training, Learning & Development, Continuous Improvement, or Organization Operations in a manufacturing environment.
