Student Assistant – University Recreation Facility Assistant

Location: UWG Recruiting Location

Employment Type: Temporary, Part‑time

Work as a facility assistant in the Campus Center, monitoring activities and patron safety, cleaning and maintaining fitness and game equipment, and checking out materials to patrons.

• Monitor activities and safety of patrons entering controlled access areas.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Check out fitness and gaming equipment to patrons.

• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at UWG.
• Must maintain a consistent GPA of 2.5 or higher.

• Required to walk, stand, bend, squat, kneel, and lift for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 40+ pounds.

• Customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask in stressful situations.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
