Responsibilities- Enthusiastically welcome and interact with all prospective students and guests at the University of West Georgia, providing a positive and educational campus tour experience.
- Assist and support in all campus events for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Strategic Enrollment Management including Fall and Spring Showcases, Academic Showcases, Admitted Students Day, etc.
- Attend Discovery Days for Campus Tour improvement and Skills Trainings for Student Development.
- Participate in potential social media videos and content with Admissions Marketing team.
- Reasonably participate in any preparation needed for daily campus tours and events.
- Serve as a student leader and representative of the University of West Georgia and the department of Strategic Enrollment Management.
- Other duties as assigned to meet departmental efforts for daily campus tours and events.
- Currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at UWG.
- 2.5 GPA.
- Driver's license to operate university vehicles.
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts during the week (9am-12pm and 1-4pm Monday through Friday).
- Seeking a Tour Guide for both the Carrollton and Newnan locations.
- Walks and other semi-physical behaviors to accomplish program objectives.
- Provide walking tours for prospective students and guests.
- Previous leadership experience or campus knowledge.
- Must have attended the University of West Georgia for one full semester.
- Resume.
- Weekly availability for the shifts provided (Monday through Friday 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm) for Fall 2026. Specify if available to work at Carrollton and Newnan locations.
