We are seeking a Director‑in‑Training to lead a vibrant 3‑month training program, including a one‑week onsite boot camp in Clayton, NC. Successful completion offers a permanent School Director position.

What Your Days Will Look Like:
  • Hands‑on training in hiring, team building, budgeting, marketing, and curriculum.
  • Recruitment, training, and state‑compliant support for your staff.
  • Supervision and inspiring of your team, including staff scheduling and substitute management.
  • Building lasting connections with families and staff.
  • Hosting informative tours for new families.
  • Ensuring the school remains safe and clean.
  • Administrative tasks such as billing, payroll, and record keeping.
  • Contributing to general school duties, from cooking to classroom activities.

Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of experience in early childhood education or a similar leadership role.
  • Credential: CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
  • Certified or licensed as required by your state.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for children, families, and staff.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Flexible, hands‑on, and willing to support as needed.
