Job SummaryThe Department of Counseling, Higher Education, and Speech‑Language Pathology (CHS) in the College of Education (COE) is seeking part‑time adjunct faculty to teach classes in our programs. These positions may be available every semester.
Required Qualifications- Master's Degree (SLPA BSEd; Clinical Courses), EdS (Counseling MEd, SLPA MEd), or EdD/PhD (SLPA MEd, Counseling MEd, Counseling EdD, HESA) in one of our department areas:
Counseling, Higher Education, or Speech‑Language Pathology. - Work experience in one of these three areas. Preferably 2 years.
- Knowledge of and a willingness to learn effective practices for teaching and/or supervision.
- Education Specialist Degree in one of our department areas.
- Supervision experience.
- Experience teaching in a fully online or hybrid environment.
- Familiarity and experience with practitioner certification requirements in Georgia and nationally.
- Knowledge of national accreditation standards as applicable.
