- Think critically, creatively, and independently to develop and maintain the existing website
- Apply basic numerical and statistical concepts to make informed decisions to encourage community to interact with content presented and generate engagement or make the website all-encompassing location for information about WOLF Radio
- Demonstrate teamwork by assisting Content Marketing Director and Operations Manager in posting any and all blogs that have been given final approval by the proper director
- Conduct research and evaluate information on search engine optimization to help optimize our website (page titles, meta descriptions, h1s, alts, anchor text, etc.)
- Demonstrate teamwork by working with Operations Manager, Assistant Program Director and Content Marketing Director to maintain website for on-air entities (i.e. On-Air Personalities and Shows)
- Apply current tools and technologies to assist with station remotes and events
- Develop professional job skills by attending any staff leadership & job skill enhancement training
- Demonstrate professionalism by attending staff meetings and perform functions as deemed appropriate by Operations Manager or Program Director
- Utilize teamwork and leadership to train and mentor staff and volunteers
- Adhere to all Policy and Procedures
- Report any and all violations to GM and OM
All students must have completed one or more of the following courses:
- In house WIT Training Course
- COMM 3301 Writing & Reporting for Newspapers
- COMM 3302 Public Affairs Reporting
- COMM 3303 Layout and Design
- COMM 3354 Digital Social Media & Society
- CS 1300 Intro to Computer ScienceCS 2100 Intro to Web Development
- MKTG 4818 Business Web Design
Students must also:
- Be enrolled at UWG in a minimum of 6 credit hours
- Have and maintain a 2.0 GPA
- Have and maintain a valid Driver's License
- Frequently moves Audio/Visual equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across campus for various classrooms and events needs.
- Familiar with Wordpress or other WYSIWYG webpage designers.
