OverviewThe Chemistry Program seeks part‑time adjunct faculty to teach General Chemistry lecture and laboratory courses for chemistry majors and non‑majors, as well as General Organic Biochemistry (GOB) lecture and laboratory courses for nursing and related allied health and health professional fields, depending upon specific qualifications.
Responsibilities- Teach General Chemistry lecture and/or laboratory courses (e.g., CHEM 1211, 1211L, 1212, 1212L).
- Teach GOB lecture and/or laboratory courses for nursing and related allied health and health professional fields (e.g., CHEM 1151, 1151L, 1152, 1152L).
- Minimum of 18 graduate level course credits in chemistry or a chemistry‑related discipline.
- Provide information/references that support teaching effectiveness.
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Chemistry or a chemistry‑related discipline.
- Applications and credentials (e.g., M.S. in Chemistry) should correlate with the specific areas of application.
- Teaching experience in lecture and laboratory settings.
