We are seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support manufacturing operations through troubleshooting, programming, and continuous improvement of industrial control systems. This role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing PLC, HMI, and automation systems while partnering with operations and maintenance teams to improve safety, reliability, and production efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with both Siemens and Allen‑Bradley platforms, with strong proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors, and industrial control systems.
  • Develop, modify, and maintain automation programs using Siemens TIA Portal and Allen‑Bradley Studio 5000.
  • Support the startup, commissioning, and integration of new equipment and process improvements.
  • Design and update electrical schematics, control panels, and system documentation.
  • Diagnose electrical issues involving AC/DC circuits, instrumentation, sensors, relays, and field devices.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.
  • Lead or support continuous improvement and capital projects.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, or controls engineering.
  • Strong proficiency with Siemens TIA Portal.
  • Experience programming and troubleshooting Allen‑Bradley PLCs (Studio 5000 / Logix).
  • Working knowledge of industrial networks, HMIs, VFDs, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and create electrical schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
