Position Overview

A leading manufacturer is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations at its Carrollton, GA facility. This individual will play a key role in driving process optimization, increasing production efficiency, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting manufacturing growth.

This position is ideal for engineers who have successfully led process improvement projects, delivered measurable operational results, and have experience supporting complex manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead process engineering initiatives across manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze production data and implement improvements that increase throughput and reduce waste.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and perform root cause investigations.
  • Drive improvements in productivity, quality, yield, capacity, and safety.
  • Lead process trials, validation activities, and process stabilization efforts.
  • Support equipment upgrades, capital projects, and commissioning activities.
  • Assist with new product introductions and material evaluations.
  • Develop standards, procedures, and best practices to support manufacturing excellence.
  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to execute improvement strategies.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical, Materials, Aerospace, Civil, or related discipline) or Physics.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing process engineering experience.
  • Proven experience leading process improvement projects.
  • Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred
  • Plastics extrusion, cable, wire, polymer, or related manufacturing experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience.
  • Equipment commissioning and capital project experience.
  • Demonstrated accomplishments in scrap reduction, throughput improvements, yield improvements, or cost savings.
