Job Summary
This position is responsible for event setup and breakdown, customer service, facility oversight, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all event participants. Event Assistants work closely with professional staff and reservation groups to provide exceptional event experiences.
Required Qualifications- Current University of West Georgia student enrolled in good academic standing.
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
- Applicants are required to have and consistently obtain at least a 2.5 GPA
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and occasional special events.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to safely move tables, chairs, and event equipment.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and furniture weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
