• Overseeing the preparation of journal entries, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP across all financial operations.
• Performing account reconciliations and assisting with balance sheet account analysis.
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Collaborating with the finance team to streamline and improve financial processes.
• Assisting with internal and external audit processes, providing necessary information and answering queries.
• Participating in budgeting and forecasting, providing insightful financial data to support decision-making.
• Identifying and implementing strategies to optimize financial performance and efficiency.
• Staying updated with industry trends, changes in business practices, regulatory requirements, and tax laws.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years in a corporate accounting or similar role, preferably within the Engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles, regulations, and practices.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
• Exceptional analytical skills with ability to analyze complex financial data and provide forecasts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with financial reporting and accounting software.
