AI Engineer, Data Analyst
Reports to: CIO
Compensation: $200,000 $ 225,000 base + bonus
We are seeking an AI Enablement / Go-to-Market Engineer to accelerate enterprise AI adoption across the organization. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CIO and backed by strong investment and strategic priority from the company's private equity ownership.
This individual will act as an internal AI catalyst, identifying business pain points, designing and building AI-driven solutions, and helping business teams operationalize AI capabilities. The role blends AI architecture, hands-on prototyping, and strategic stakeholder engagement.
The organization is already actively leveraging tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot and is open to implementing additional technologies (e.g., Claude or other emerging AI platforms) as needed.
Role Responsibilities AI Strategy & EnablementPartner with business leaders to identify operational pain points and opportunities for AI-driven improvements.
Translate business needs into practical AI solutions, workflows, and automation strategies.
Drive AI adoption by enabling teams to integrate AI into daily operations and decision-making.
Design and build AI agents, proofs-of-concept (POCs), and prototype applications to validate opportunities quickly.
Architect scalable AI solutions leveraging modern LLM ecosystems and enterprise tools.
Evaluate and implement emerging AI technologies across platforms such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, and other relevant tools.
Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, mobilizing cross-functional resources to implement AI solutions.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to executives and business teams through visual, strategic presentations and demonstrations.
This role will sequentially enable AI capabilities across key business functions:
Finance
Operations
Sales
Marketing
The AI Enablement Lead will focus deeply on one department at a time, implementing solutions, demonstrating value, and then scaling capabilities across the organization.
Team Building & ScalingAs the AI program matures, the role will expand into a department-level leadership position.
Responsible for building and managing a team of 3+ direct reports to scale AI initiatives across the enterprise.
Reports directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Operates with significant autonomy and ownership.
CIO serves as a strategic collaborator rather than a day-to-day manager.
Initiative is fully funded and prioritized by the company's private equity investors.
Deep knowledge of AI architecture, LLM ecosystems, and modern AI development frameworks.
Experience building AI agents, automation workflows, and proof-of-concept solutions.
Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms and tools such as:
ChatGPT
Microsoft Copilot
Claude
Other emerging AI technologies.
Ability to translate business challenges into technical AI solutions.
Experience working directly with senior executives and business stakeholders.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts visually and strategically.
Experience leading initiatives that require cross-functional collaboration and organizational influence.
Prior people management experience or demonstrated ability to build and scale teams.
Hybrid AI architect, builder, and strategist.
Comfortable operating in startup-style environments inside larger organizations.
Passionate about rapid experimentation, proof-of-concepts, and driving measurable AI impact.
