Automotive Service Technology The Carroll County School System is accepting applications for a CTAE (Automotive Service Technology) teaching position at the College and Career Academy North Campus for the  School Year.

• Provide supervision and guidance for the Skills
  
  USA chapter.
• Be familiar with the CTAE curriculum.

• Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent or higher;
• Hold valid certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in one of the following:
• Automobile & Light Truck Certification (Series A), in all four of the areas of:
  Suspension and Steering (A4);
  Brakes (A5);
  Electrical/Electronic Systems (A6); and Engine Performance (A8); or
• Auto Maintenance and Light Repair Certification (Test G1); and
• Have at least two (2) years of occupational work experience in the field.
• As outlined in GaPSC Rule 505-2-.08 CAREER, TECHNICAL AND AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION, paragraph (3)(e), applicants meeting all requirements with the exception of industry testing and/or licensure may be issued a three (3)-year Induction certificate in this area of specialization.
