About the Role

A leading manufacturer in Carrollton, GA is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead major capital expansion projects. This role will oversee the full lifecycle of construction and equipment installation projects, ensuring safety, budget, and schedule compliance. You'll work closely with contractors, engineers, and internal teams to deliver high-impact results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and evaluation of capital projects ($50M-$100M+ budgets)
• Manage contractors, engineers, and cross-functional teams
• Review bids, scopes of work, invoices, and change orders
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules using tools like Smartsheet, MS Project, or Procore
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (Avetta, EH&S)
• Facilitate project handoff to operations and support post-project evaluation
• Travel up to 25% to company sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project/Program Management, or Construction Management
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing capital construction projects in manufacturing
• Proven success with large-scale expansion projects ($100M+)
• Familiarity with SAP, Lean principles, and project management software
• PMP certification is a plus but not required
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
