Pay Rate: $43.27 – $45.64
Position SummaryTeam Lead works directly with operations to support production control and planning of machines in their designated area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Safety: Support Southwire’s Culture of Zero by demonstrating safe and quality‑conscious work habits; use tools properly; show a bias for action; turn in safety touch points and connect with operators.
- Human Capital: Coordinate training activities for new hires and provide 30/60/90 progress feedback; provide hands‑on assistance in troubleshooting, process improvement, day‑to‑day operations, and cost‑reduction initiatives such as dimensional control and manufacturing methods.
- DHP: Actively participate in the DHP process; conduct cell‑level huddles as needed; coordinate with support staff to resolve problems; verify hour‑by‑hour production rates; perform any additional activities directed by Plant Leadership.
- Exhibits strong decision‑making and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
- Can influence and train others respectfully.
- Possesses clear verbal and written communication skills and understands when to elevate issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
- Has strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Works effectively in a team environment.
