Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $19.18

• Assemble wood reels using hand and power tools according to specifications.
• Collaborate closely with other departments and teams.
• Think on your feet and troubleshoot problems and situations.
• Make incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured product.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Perform all duties as designated by supervisor/manager.
• Perform all duties in support of Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.
• Help out other departments as needed.

• Previous experience in a warehousing environment is extremely helpful.
• “Get it done” attitude and urgency to resolve problems/tasks.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of our products and their quality requirements.
• Reliability, initiative, commitment, and quality focus are a must.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Effective teamwork in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Capability to perform repetitive duties, including standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining high craftsmanship and attention to detail.
